Here are the levels and link to help you figure out what I do here, and an end of week vid with my observations of the action, and two different ways to look at the same potential trade.
Here's the link. For some reason I'm having quality issues with the video. I also supplied images from the first few days of the week. If you have any questions, let Vad know. I'm sans prop-firm currently, so I'm a bit unleashed from the screen.
Ahhhh....my admin skills leave a little to be desired. I sent Vad the wrong image, he's updated it since. Sorry, just getting the hang of this thing...;)
Vad has been informing me of questions regarding data validity. Freestockcharts.com uses only the BATS exchange for data, therefore, the actual volume and price action is a tad suspect. Both Vad and I have noted differences in volume between FSC and the LASER trading platform. I've even seen variance in the candle configurations. Having said that, I use data from LASER for weekly and longer data, which is from my NASDAQ feed, which I corroborated today from the NASDAQ website. I do use the daily Pivots provided as a standard indicator in FSC and that works quite well.
I use FSC because it is quite accessible, flexible, and social, in the sense it is easy to share data among friends, aquaintances and enemies.
As a point of emphasis, when you boil it down, what we do is art as much as science. These levels, as I state, are not predictive, but are helpful for those of us with ADHD (or not) to gain focus when price action approaches various levels or confluence zones.
As you may know Vad has developed a trading course around the principles of Taoism...These zones, in a sense, allow us to apply the principle of Reversion (Yin/Yang) We...well me...can't be focused every minute of every trading day, (as I said, ADHD) we also need to relax so that we have a reservoir of energy upon which we can call when the situation demands. We can't fight all day...choose your battles. (My teacher had a great analogy for the phenomena, unfortunately it's too vulgar for this venue :))
Therefore, As you sit back and wait, as Bill would say, for the price action to come to you, as it approaches the mapped areas, and as the idicators you use begin to form setups in these areas, it helps increase the probabilities of success. Now is the time to enter the fray...when it is most likely to pay.
One more thing...I don't wish this to sound like an excuse, but I have very little time to answer question...(Studying for that frickin' series 56 exam...oy vay). Vad will track questions, and I'll try to incorporate answers weekly in the review, or weekly level update. Frankly, I'm not sure I can actually provide any expertise...These are very mechanical calculations, with a smidgeon of variability in the Fib. retracements...the rest is blood, sweat, and tears.... te morituri salutamas
W.D. Gann often spoke of his 60-year master time cycle, a recognizable and repeatable long-term ebb and flow of prices. The chart below, from McClellan Publications, shows the 60-year master cycle of interest rates (and the 30-year half-cycle) over several centuries.
Just an interesting factoid probably taking up useless space in my brain. The Chinese astrological calendar is 60 years long. 12 signs, 5 elements to each sign. So, every 12 years completes the cycle for one element. And there are 5 cycles.

well...I know as much as anybody about the proposed fed audits. My understanding is they've been watered down enough to be effective theatre, but completely feckless.
Maybe I'm simplistic, but I always ask where else can you put your money: Bonds? Stocks? Commodities? Real Estate? cash? Number 1 and 5 are a bit iffy, 4 is good but doesn't get you anything, so outside of a "normal" pullback, or a blackswan, where else you gonna' put it.

Too funny, reducing stress is the whole therapeutic point to basic Taoist burning meditation.
