Those of us on the Cara team charged with keeping an eye on the blog discourse find ourselves increasingly challenged by our monitoring task. Some blog participants insist on digressing at length into areas of discussion that are not relevant to the purposes of this forum.
CaraCommunity.com is about increasing everyone’s ability to successfully trade the capital markets. The social equity commitment of the blog is fulfilled by presenting top-quality information and techniques in order to help individuals gain and retain financial power and independence through trading.
It is our opinion that lengthy polemical posts presenting links to other blogs and forums featuring more of the same do not support either CaraCommunity purpose. Those types of posts occupy too much valuable discourse space and take up the limited time most serious participants have for reading and absorbing the information found here.
As well, many of the regular participants who do stay focused on trading are expressing similar opinions.
Trading does not exist in a vacuum and there is always room here for relevant comment on the broader issues affecting trading. However, there are countless other forums where lengthy discussion of politics, philosophy, and ideology may be more welcome.
We ask you all to stay primarily focused on successful trading, and to respect everyone’s time by being brief and to the point.
